Gold City Council Elections 2020
The Queensland Electoral Commission has announced the final distribution of council divisions for the upcoming election. Main Beach, formerly included in Division 7 is now part of a new “super” division 10, including Broadbeach, Broadbeach Waters, Mermaid Beach, Chevron Island and Surfers Paradise. See Map.
All Candidates Meeting
Monday 9 March 2020 6pm (for 7pm start) Southport Yacht Club.
Join us for networking drinks and rub shoulders with the candidates before the meeting in the Compass Room.
The Main Beach Progress Association is hosting an all candidates for Division 10 in an open forum for local residents to meet and discuss local issues, understand candidate platforms and objectives and foster dialogue about the future of Main Beach within this new super division.
